You can walk up this hill and enjoy great views from the observation platform, which overlooks many Native American effigy mounds and marshes. You will also find another observation platform towards the southeastern area of this hill. It will provide views of Frederick Springs.

Things You Might Need at the Conservancy
If you plan to hike around the Conservancy, bring some good walking shoes. You might also want some binoculars to check out the wildlife. Of course, a camera is a great option.
During the summer, you want to bring a hat and sun protection. The northern area of the conservancy can get a lot of sun. You may also want to bring your bike if you plan to ride the trails.
Hours and Parking
The Pheasant Branch Conservancy is open from 7am to 10pm daily. you can park along Pheasant Branch Drive in one of the two smaller parking lots. There is another larger parking lot found at Orchid Heights Park, which provides pretty easy access to the trails.
You can count on public restrooms being found by Orchid Heights Park, along with plenty of benches to take a break. It's also possible to park in the lot found on Century Avenue and Branch Street. This lot is close to the Pheasant Branch Trail.
