Found just seven miles to the south of Madison, Oregon provides a great location with many affordable home options. Mature neighborhoods include a variety of home options, while the downtown area offers historic homes and even some newer neighborhoods offer condos and modern home options. Some of the condos are located along the golf course and provide beautiful views.

Neighborhoods, such as Windcrest offer new construction homes, while other areas, such as Main, Jefferson, Lincoln and Janesville streets offer historic houses. One of the most popular condominium communities is called The Villages of Foxboro. Both Alpine Meadows and Autumn Wood Greens also offer condominium options.

What Does the Neighborhood Look Like?

With reel-lined streets, a small downtown and plenty of local offerings, Oregon has gained popularity. Residents enjoy easy access to lakes and plenty of open areas and parks throughout. Lerner Conservation is one of the more popular parks in Oregon. Other options include Jaycees, Bethel, Scott Street, Thompson, Greenacre and Town Park.

The historic homes and building found closer to downtown also make Oregon special. Many are found on the National Register of Historic Places. Throughout the downtown area, residents also enjoy plenty of local eateries and small shops.

Oregon holds many events throughout the year for residents to enjoy. The annual Oregon Fair is very popular and includes a softball tournament, parade of bands, midway carnival, car show and much more. The village also holds an Annual Summer Fest with plenty of entertainment, games and fun for everybody to enjoy.

What's Going on Nearby?

Found to the south of Madison, Oregon provides easy access to many of the major lakes nearby. It's also close to the Hook Lake Bog State Natural Area and the Waubesa Wetlands State Natural Area. Fitchburg is found just to the north with McFarland to the northeast. Verona, Kegonsa, Rutland and Stoughton are all found near Oregon, as well.
