Trying to sell a home in today's market can be a challenge. One of the things that we often recommend to our seller clients is to consider home staging. Typically, this is when a home seller would clean up and present the property at its very best. Often times this can be decluttering and removing many personal items from the home. In this video, however, one can see the benefits of bringing in furniture and other accents to help potential home buyers to visualize the space at it's best.

Staging is effective. Compared to nonstaged houses, on average staged houses:
1 - Had more showings scheduled (3 more showings)
2 - Spent less time on the market (11 fewer days on market)
3 - Sold for a higher price (1% of list price higher)
